2. Back of Wedding Dress Details
   During the wedding ceremony, guests are primarily looking at the couple’s backs. This is why plenty of brides have started to focus on the back of their dresses for the more extravagant design.

3. Bold Jewel Tone Colours
   In the last year pastel blue and chocolate brown were very popular, brides and grooms are now seeking bolder looks with bold jewel tone wedding colours, consisting of rich purples, gold’s, oranges, and reds.

4. Square Tables
   A square-shaped table not only facilitates conversation better than most other tables, but it also gives a room a clean, modern image. Wedding planners and designers love square tables, because they are great blank surfaces for printed table runners, interesting floral centre pieces, and rows of elegant pillar candles.

5. Lace, Embroidery, and Other Decorations
   In fitting with the trend towards more glamorous weddings, brides tend to look for dresses with more lace, beading, embroidery, and other embellishments. But you’ll also see this trend extended into other areas of the wedding, for example lace table runners, glass beads and jewels in flower vases, lace bands around programs, invitations and menus, and embroidered chair slips.

6. Sleeves
   This doesn’t mean that the brides have full length, block material arms its just in keeping with the lace trend, you’ll see daintier cap sleeves, lace shrugs, and off-the-shoulder styles. Strapless will still be big, but brides seeking alternatives will now have more choice.

7. Cocktail Hour Entertainment
   The cocktail hour has traditionally taken a backseat to the more interesting parts of a wedding. The couple and their family are usually off taking photographs, and guests are trying to get to know each other. But now couples want to make it more interesting by introducing entertainers during the cocktail hour. Most will simply hire different musicians to create a more club-like atmosphere in the cocktail hour, so to get a party mood before it actually starts.

8. More Unusual Wedding Locations
   Sure the country club is nice, and that wedding hall will probably help you create a lovely wedding and setting. But for a more memorable impression, without the travel and logistics of a destination wedding, couples are seeking unusual wedding locations such as zoos, aquariums, castles, and film studios, and barns.
